Dwight was not exactly living his best life before coming in to care. Painfully shy of humans and somewhat institutionalised, it did take some time for Dwight to feel comfortable in a home environment. He has since fully embraced the good life and discovered the joys of belly rubs and snuggles 😘

Dwight is a social boy once he gets to know you and has come so far since being in a home. He does enjoy the company of other cats but is rather dominant with them which tends to make the others unhappy. For this reason we are recommending a home with no other cats.

Dwight does not like being alone so a home with people around more often than not would be best. Perhaps retirees or those WFH on an ongoing basis? He just wants to make up for lost time and get as many belly rubs in as possible. You may even be rewarded with happy drool 🤤

Dwight has lived with a puppy and did show an interest in being friends, but her bouncy puppy nature was a bit much for him. He’d prefer a more respectful, cat savvy canine friend.

Indoor only home please - access to a secure outdoor cat run is fine. No young children as Dwight can still get a bit nervous at times. Cat savvy kids over 6yo should be fine.
