About Joey
**not cat tolerant**
Hi! My name is JOEY
My race name was Fran joe, and I am a handsome and calm boy looking for my 4ever home!
I’m super smart and loveable and I am good with other dogs but love having lots of attention to myself.
I am 3 ½ years old. With my birthday in April! ( I love presents) I don’t mind being alone for short periods of time 4-5 hrs with the possibility of longer. However, I also would enjoy having older kids (teens)or adults around for company.
I love my human companions and would love to sit with you in whatever you are doing.
I love going for walks and meeting new friends, but I can be a bit nervous about new things to start, but take it slow and I will do anything for love.
Who wouldn’t?
I do have a special request though. I am currently on special food (Hills k/d dry food) to help my kidneys and would need a family that can commit to my diet as much as I am, I also Eat out of a slow feeder bowl because I hoover my food up so fast. (it’s just so yummy)
I am currently a TAFE SA student at Gilles Plains. Yep, you heard that right. I am a smart grey; I help the students learn all about dogs and in particular greyhounds.
I currently live in the kennels with my friends who will
Also, be looking for their forever home soon.
We have a lot of fun! But it’s time to find our family now. Are you the one?
I haven’t lived in the house yet, but I’m really good at learning and it wouldn’t take me long!
If you are looking for a new best friend to spend life with then I’m your dog!
Let my friends at BTG know and we can set up a date!
Luv
JOEY 🐾

Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
