About Honey ~ 1yr Old Staffy X ridgeback (On Trial 18/12
Honey is a pretty 1 year old staffy x ridgeback. She is looking for a patient and committed forever home.
Honey is very sweet and loves a cuddle and a belly scratch. She loves a tennis ball and LOVES her food.
Unfortunately, due a bad experience and missing out on socialisation, Honey just really doesn’t know how to behave when she comes across another dog. She’s just overwhelmed and excited and can make a bit of a scene - so a sense of humour, confidence and experience would be needed.
When given plenty of time, Honey can be introduced to other dogs. At home she spends some time with a female English bulldog without issue. But she would thrive as an only dog, with plenty of time and attention to work on becoming the best dog she can be.
Ideally Honey would love living in a quiet area, perhaps with bush walks or other ways to explore. She isn’t a dog park or dog beach girl and may never be.
Honey is used to having a lot of company around the house so she may not be suited to full time workers. She is used to coming and going through a dog door. She can react when people come to the door but this can be managed. As she is still a young girl she can chew things if bored!
This sweet girl will be your best friend with the right guidance.
