Brandy ~ 2yr Old Ridgeback x (17/11/21)

This is Brandy – a large lady lap dog with almost human eyes, and your future best friend.

Brandy is a 2yr old Ridgeback Mastiff. She is a very smart and energetic dog who is still running through her puppy stage of life.

While still young, she is well trained and knows quite a few commands: sit, wait, come, shake, up, she will wait for her food, and knows not to run out through gates and front doors without being directed to. She is perfect for a family who is looking for a companion to share their life with.

Brandy has plenty of energy and loves being off lead and chasing sticks and balls. She is working on her lead walking; she does walk politely but needs someone who is confident with her strength if she does decide to pull.

Brandy can be nervous around other dogs. She does live with another dog now but would be best suited to being the only dog at home and walking in quiet areas – this is unlikely to change over time but that’s OK as she has enough love to give as your only fur child! She will enjoy walks and off lead time in quiet areas but isn’t a dog beach or dog park dog due to her nervousness.

Brandy has been untested around cats, however is very comfortable around backyard chickens. Pocket pets may not be suited around her as she is very fast and curious. Due to her size, she would need to be supervise initially around small children however is very comfortable and sweet with all family members and new arrivals.

Currently Brandy is an outside dog and sleeps outside. However, she needs to be welcome inside with her family and would be happy being inside all the time. She does not dig or bark throughout the day and would require larger fences due to her size. She is a low maintenance dog and is very happy laying around all day.

Brandy is a gentle, sweet natured dog who loves affection and cuddles. A smart loving puppy who wants a new home.

Brandy is currently living in the Lake Macquarie Region NSW. Her adoption fee is $400, and she is already de-sexed, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and microchipped.
