Bundy

Young BUNDY is an affectionate and energetic one year-old male border collie with a dash of kelpie and blue cattle dog. He's what we like to call a "belpie blue".

Bundy's foster mum says he is a good-natured dog with "a real zest for life". Ball-play and swimming are two of his favourite activities. He walks well on a lead and enjoys car rides.

Bundy is house-trained and, although he likes to have access to inside the home, he's very happy spending most of his time outside.

He currently lives with two female dogs and is dog-friendly, but a proper introduction is required. He is untested with cats. Given his exuberance, we consider he's better suited to a family with older children.

Although Bundy is eager and willing to please, he will require a firm hand to reach his full potential. Being a work dog mix, he is as smart as new paint and will make an affectionate, loyal and devoted companion or family dog.

He is accustomed to having plenty of space and other medium-sized dogs to play with.

Bundy will NOT cope if left alone in a backyard for extended periods, so is not suitable to full-time workers. Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and there is at least one other dog around his size to play with. Although Bundy's not a fence jumper, secure fencing, as usual, is essential.

His adoption fee is $550 and he is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
