Hello potential new family!
My name is Hank and I am adorable Aussie Bulldog, although you could easily mistake me for a little love machine!
My foster mum says I am a little love bug who just loves to be around my humans – I do still respect your personal space but I just love to be near you – I’m happy with chillaxing with you while you watch tv, read a book, do your housework – I will just keep you company but not be annoying or jump all over you.
My favorite thing in life is loving my humans, getting pats and cuddles and giving them. OMG the tummy rubs – I just love tummy rubs or a good scratch behind the ear or by my tail – oh yeah, that I could enjoy all day. I am currently in care with some small kids and even if I do say so myself I'm pretty good with them - I enjoy just being around them.
My foster mum says I'm a delight to have and one of the kindest sweetest natures she has even seen.
Since being with my foster family I have learnt that there are some awesome things in life - like sleeping in air conditioning (but that's a must cause of my breed). My foster mum says I have amazing manners – I don’t jump on furniture and happy to sleep in my amazing dog bed that I have.
I have discovered how to play with toys and my foster mum says that i give awesome hugs (i like it when you bend down to me and i can stand on my back legs and wrap my front paws around you to give you a full bulldog body hug and a good nuzzle into your neck)
I am pretty good on manners but i am strong when on my lead, but that's just cause i'm keen to get things going when it's walk time.
I enjoy good food - my foster mum has been working on adding a few kilos to my frame (I know right who would have thought that a bulldog had to have som weight added - but she did it and got the tick of approval from the vet the other day at my health check), I am currently sitting at 22.8kgs.
I love people but do get sad when they get scared of me cause I’m a bulldog I’m not scary at all – my foster mum says I’m just a love bug. I am used to being able to have a nap mostly of a morning, lunchtime and evening (hee hee) and in between all that a play.
I'm great with other dogs of any size. I have been known to walk off on another dog that is going crazy at the fence line, but I'm NOT good with pocket pets (no cats, guinea pigs, chooks)
I am happy to ride shot gun (okay yeah i know back seat only) in the car with you - I will keep you company for hours while you drive.
I would ideally like a home where there is someone home (shift work, retired, works from home, stay home mum or dad) I’m not fussy just someone I can hang with thru the day – I would be a great secretary sleeping in your office while you work even.
I am fully house trained, leave your belongings alone and don’t keep the neighbors up barking, I guess you could say I’m pretty chilled.

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
