Stormy

Hello hello, I'm Stormy and I'm a sweet girl looking for a family to come by to the shelter and blow me away! I will need an owner who is experienced with an independent, bold breed like myself (spitz breed) as I am quite a unique girl. I am an affectionate dog who will need a home that can dedicate time + work into ongoing training, and can be compassionate and help me to cope with structured handling, such as when at the vets, brushing or bathing.
Because I love human affection, my future owners will need to be working either part time or casual, but no full time workers please as I can get stressed when left alone . I am also quite high energy so my home will need to be without kids, older children (16+) could be okay but I will need to meet them first. I am also a very social girl with other fur friends so I could potentially live with another calm, older MALE dog pending a meet. I can be quite full on with my play though so I will need for my new owners to monitor any socializations with other dogs and ensure that any play is well matched!
I am a very active girl so I will need to have lots of mental and physical stimulation daily - some good activities to keep my mind and body busy include kongs, snufflemats, wobblers and puzzles that give me treats!
