About Cookie
Hey, my name is Cookie and I am a 6 year old short-hair Collie.
I am a cute playful girl, who is keen to learn new things. I am super friendly to new hooman friends, loving a pat and looking to please. I am still exploring new things in this great big world and I like to make sure I investigate everything thoroughly. I can sit, wait for food, come when called, walk on leads and sleep outside at night. I enjoy being around you doing the jobs around the home.
I would like a new home with older children, as I like to wiggle. I have interacted well with the other dogs in my foster home, but I would also be ok as an only dog as long as I could be with my people as much as possible. I am not sure how I would go with a cat, since I have never lived with one. If there is poultry or livestock around, I will need to be monitored closely, as I find them very interesting, as they are all new, but I am becoming more accepting of all creatures, great and small. I will need someone patient and willing to invest time into growing my confidence in a quiet environment.
I am looking for a family who will love me and include me in their lives. I would like my family to be around more often than not and says I’d be a bit lost if I wasn’t allowed inside to be part of the action. I am very clever and active, so I need a home where my family understands that I need mental and physical stimulation. It will be important to commit to my ongoing training and socialisation to increase my confidence around new things.
If you'd like to include this gorgeous lady into your active and busy home, please apply by now!
Hopefully we can be best friends soon please!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
