Buddy

Hi my name is Buddy and if you’re looking for a new pal, then I might just be the ""best buddy"" you will ever have!

I’m currently living with my foster family which includes humans (obviously) as well a doggy sister, Sadie. Sadie is great and is teaching me how to behave around other dogs as you see I am a little bit nervous with dogs I don’t know. Not aggressive or anything - just a little bit shy. But Sadie and I get on like a house on fire.

I’ve also met some kids who I just LOVED and although I was a little bit jumpy around them - hey I couldn’t help myself - they were soooooo cute, but when they told me to sit, I did so straight away. You see that way I could enjoy all the cuddles and pats they were lavishing on me.

My foster mummy thinks I am very “food orientated” (whatever that means!) and that is why I have learnt so many new tricks so quickly. Like most dogs I will continue to learn new things - especially if there’s treat involved! I already walk well on the lead, sleep through the night and am house trained. I’ve also had trips to the beach and enjoy a bit of a paddle but to be honest the waves do scare me a little bit.

I’m also not at all fussy when it comes to toys - I can find joy and fun in just about everything, so you won’t need to buy special toys for me - although I wouldn’t say no, obviously. I do have a soft spot for anything that squeaks or crinkles!!!!
