Hi I’m Oscar! I am a very sensitive and gentle extra large dog. My favourite things in life are pats, cuddles and praise. I always want to be nearby or on top of my people and would love to be your second shadow.

I am a smart pup and need a special person who will be very gentle with me with positive reinforcement training only please. I am toilet trained, can sit, stay and shake but I have moderate separation anxiety that needs training and patience. I get scared easily and bark so I need someone who can help me learn that outdoor noises aren’t something to be scared of. I’m pretty good at walking on lead but I am very very strong and will pull when there are yummy smells around.

I would thrive in a home where:
- Someone is home most of the time
- People can handle my strength and size
- The street is quiet with little road and foot traffic noise
- I can go on 2 walks a day
- There is air conditioning (I don’t do well in hot weather)
- I am included in your everyday life and family

While I’m great with people and other dogs I don’t know my strength or size so a home with older people would be best for me. I am not tested with children or cats.
