Licorice

This delightful four-month-old kitten is now ready to find his permanent home. He has shiny jet black and wine-red fur with striking amber eyes. Although he is shy and quiet, he will enjoy the company of other cats when he gets used to them. He can be found sleeping on his bed during the day but, during the night, he likes to find a cat buddy to snuggle up next to. Licorice even likes play wrestling with other cats. Having all the curiosity of a kitten, he enjoys his feather duster, toy balls and scratching post. For one so young, he has good concentration skills and will chase after his playball for a long time. He is often more playful at night-time.
As he is small, Licorice will hide from larger animals and may become frightened with dogs. He might adapt more easily to a household with older children (he likes to hide if afraid) and a cat friend could help him to settle into his new environment and feel secure and safe.
