Hi everyone! My name is Anthony, pleased to meet you! I was rescued by Off The Chain because my breeders weren't taking very good of my siblings and I, and the council was fining them for excess animals and not doing any vet work or registration. Off The Chain took us all in, and desexed my mum for my breeder-now she is doing great, and so are we!

I am a sweet, snuggly boy with a huge heart. I am a mix breed, staffy x arab and will be around 30kg as a fully grown adult. I am currently 27kg. Since coming into care, I have proven to be a lovely, friendly boy, who really deserves a second chance at life. I currently live with adult humans, a large breed female dog, and 2 puppies. I get along great with everyone here, although the man who lives here works away a lot and I am very scared of him every time he comes home. I can be a little nervous around new humans but learn in time that I can trust you.

I spend about 5hrs a day home alone with the other dogs, while my humans are away. I just hang out and play with them and keep myself busy. I get excited when everyone is home, but I also don't mind entertaining myself while they're gone.

I live behind a 4ft fence and would need the same or higher in my new home to keep me safe. I would also prefer to have a dog friend to keep me company. I was beautifully natured at the vet clinic although very nervous. I don't like cats so please don't make me live with any! And while I am currently very scared of my foster dad, he is also only home for a few days every fortnight- that's hard for anyone to adjust to! With patience and consistency, I would adjust to the man of the house in time. I absolutely adore my foster mum, and look forward to living in a calm, loving home who can give me further training and mental enrichment to keep me happy. I would love to sleep inside at night and be a part of the family, and would prefer not to live with small children, just because they can make me a little nervous.

I would be an excellent companion dog for someone with a relaxed, friendly home and lifestyle, who wants to go for walks 3-5 times a week. I would be a great sidekick for obedience, confidence and trick training!
