Meet Manning! Once this gorgeous boy has settled in, all he wants is love and attention. He loves cuddles and belly rubs, and just wants to be around his human. He makes an excellent companion and will happily sit at your feet just to be around you. When he’s not cuddling with his human, Manning will relax and doesn’t make a fuss if he can see you.

Manning would need a family that is dedicated to ongoing training. He knows “Sit”, “No” and seems to be learning “Stay”. Generally, Manning walks well on a lead but can be reactive towards other dogs. He is not aggressive but will need continued socialization to ensure he learns how to become well-mannered. He is toilet trained, although he may need some initial assistance transferring this skill into his new home. Manning is eager to please and responds with enthusiasm to food, making him easy to train and reward.

This beautiful boy came into care with a fair bit of anxiety but he has made excellent progress and will now settle when left alone. He has also been crate trained and will settle in his crate overnight. With a confident new home, Manning would eventually be suitable to working families that may not be home all day.
