Luna

Affectionate and loving Luna has been adored by every person she has met. We are looking for an amazing home for this sweet as apple pie pup.
Luna’s favourite thing in the world is humans. She leans her whole body into you, and would lay on your lap all day if you let her. The perfect family for Luna is one that will let her inside, on the couch or at least on your lap! I think she would be happy in an apartment with multiple walks a day. She also likes to run between people to get pats, which burns off a bit of energy. She walks well on a halti, but needs more work on the lead without it. While hesitant at first, she now loves car drives - especially with the window rolled down! Luna is very smart and has picked up on training very quickly! She has good recall, she can sit and drop, but will need more positive reinforcement training and maybe some puppy classes. She has also started crate training and responded well to it. Luna wants cuddles at least 100 times a day, and doesn’t have many boundaries when it comes to your body and hers. She will sometimes get excited and run into your legs, so older children who won’t be bowled over would be best in her new home. She will also vocalise while alone, especially if in the backyard or if you’ve been away all day. She’d prefer people home more often than not. Luna loves to chew things, especially soft toys or anything with stuffy - best to keep valuable items above her eyesight! She’s been around cats but has shown some prey drive, and does love chasing birds and possums (or least trying to!) She has also consumed more flies I thought would even be possible. Luna has showed some reactivity to dogs while walking or if they go past the house. At this stage she will be best as an only pet until she has had further training. She has been around another female dog, but didn’t respond to efforts from the other pup to play. She’s more interested in humans! If you think you have enough love for this sweetheart.

Luna comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea treated and wormed. Adoption fee does not include local council registration.
