About Gus
Let me introduce you to Gus the 3 year old Pug x Jack Russell which is also known as a Jug.
This stunning boy was surrendered to BARC due to no fault of his own, and is now looking for a new forever home where he can be loved and spoilt rotten
Gus would love a family with the following.
- A dog door so he can come in and out of the house as he likes.
- Lots of long walks where he can follow his nose
- A dog friend the same size that he can hang out with and relax
- Kids in the home that are over the age of 6+
- Someone happy to continue with his training
- Somewhere he can be the small spoon at bed time
Gus is a gentleman and just wants to be able to hang out with you no matter where you are. Gus has never been exposed to cats, However with slow introduction he may be okay to live with a feline friend

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
