Meet Anakin! Surrendered to the shelter as his previous home was too stressful, Anakin is looking for a quiet and understanding new home to call his own. He is a very lovely boy, but will take a bit of time getting used to his new surroundings and home. He is a very sweet and affectionate boy and loves cuddling in your lap after a long day; he LOVES to play too, and has a real cheeky streak! He will need time to settle and a slow introduction if his new home has an existing feline (we are recommending only one (1) current resident cat in the home, as too many cats make him stressed too), but has had nice responses to polite cats here. His new cat friend will have to be ready to play, though, as Anakin enjoys rough-and-tumble fun with other cats here at the shelter! He does not tolerate dogs and becomes stressed around kids, so a nice quiet home is ultimately what we want for him. He should have some supervised outside time, whether that is in the form of a secure outdoor cat run, or harness training.
