Hi, I'm Gemimah!
I'm a playful girl who loves to play wind wands, run through tunnels or play with a piece of cat litter on the floor. When I'm not playing I like to lounge on the couch or sit on the windowsill looking out. I can be quite a vocal girl when I want something. Although I'm not a lap cat, I do enjoy a good scratch near the face and base of the tail and a cuddle.
It did take me over a week to come out of my shell in foster care, but I'm getting more confident each day. I hadn't been around kids before, so I'm still getting used to them. I've been very interested in meeting the resident dog, but even though I previously lived with lots of cats it did take me a while to get used to the household cats. I still sometimes think the other cats are trying to fight me when they are only playing so I can get defensive, but majority of the time we get on fine. I do however have a preference to cat litter. I won't use woodchip, clay, or clumping litter. I prefer crystals, and have been known to use the bathtub. I will need a home who will allow me time to settle in and give me the patience I need. Adoption details
- All of our cats/kittens must remain indoors for their own safety
- As part of your applications, we require a copy of your rental agreement stating that you can have pets, or a rates notice if you own your home.
- All relevant paperwork and records will be provided - please note we do have a contract in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14-day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
- If there are any issues during the settling in period you will need to contact Peggy's Promise ASAP so we can assist.
