Hi! I'm Bundy, I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Lots of toys (soccerballs are my favourite) and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
• A family that will love and care for me during my twilight years

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• No young children as I can be a bit shy in new situations and with new people and little ones may accidently scare me. Older children who will be involved with my training should be ok

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Gentle & placid
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I walk well on lead
• I appear housetrained
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head/belly scratches
• Well mannered
• Love to snooze on the couch

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I am shy at first with new people and in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue on with my socialization • I can sometimes initially be shy and try to avoid things going over my head (lead etc). It doesn't take long for me warm up and my excitable & full of life nature to come out.
• I am scared of thunder & fireworks and will bark & whine. I will require a safe space to retreat to during these events as well as comfort and reassurance from my family.

Extras
• I have never been allowed inside before however I am hoping that my new family will allow me inside to make me feel included & part of the family. I keep my kennel very clean and appear I would be well behaved inside a home. I also love the couch and snuggles.

The application process can take up to 2 weeks so please allow this much time for us to get in contact with you regarding whether you have been successful or not. If you have made it through the first round, we may contact you by phone for more information.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Bundy until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant.

AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE CANNOT COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET BUNDY IN PERSON.
ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET BUNDY BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
