• Not housetrained
• Not tested with cats
• Good with dogs after the initial ‘bark-off’
• Suited to living with another dog. Ideally a male companion
• Good with children over 10

Bird is a stereotypical small dog. She enjoys the opportunity to bark as visitors enter the yard and extends her legs to 6ft tall when first encountering other dogs. Once she has had the chance to state her place with you, she leaps up for cuddles and face licks and will chase her doggy pals around in the fantastic game of 'chase-the-dog'.
Bird loves toys as much as she loves her lap cuddles.

She originated from a small Pilbara community,so everything in this 'big city' is new to her and she requires time to adjust.

Our dogs available for adoption are all living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an Expression of Interest Form via the above link, you will receive a response within 14 days. Please check your 'Junk and Spam' folder.

Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. If the dog is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.

Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
