About Hector
Hectors story is so sad. He was abandoned in a yard for 6 months with another dog. Fly bitten ears.
Looking for some one that is home a lot has another gentle dog. He barks when left. You can see the sadness in his eyes.
I rescued his mate who died 2 months later.

Barks when left on his own another dog could stop this.
Can be reactive to other dogs if they frighten him.
Food- can be fussy. Hector is fed him chicken mince with rice and veggies- loves treats!
The most lovable, affectionate dog who just needs time and love. Very very gentle around people of all ages.
Hector has been left outside all his life with food scraps thrown over the fence. He was with another dog who we think may have bullied him a little. This has left him weary of other dogs. Due to this he’s happy to relax at home and not fussed if he is not walked. If walked, he can be a little reactive on a lead if a dog comes bounding you to him. He is gentle so if a dog is polite, he is fine.
As he has a fear of being left outside forever so he would suit someone who can be at home with him more often than not. Would not suit a full time worker. He barks outside when you leave him but his kennel really helps calm him down. He’s need a routine so he can learn you’ll be coming home.
He has basic training and been taught how to sit, down, shake hands, cuddle and even dance! He’s not interested in toys but loves his 2 kongs and anything food related!
He is mostly toilet trained. If he is taken for a wee each night before bed he can hold on during the night.
Walking him he is nervous. Especially if he hears a dog bark. This causes him to not be overly great on a lead.
If your looking for a companion who just wants to relax at home and be your best friend he is perfect! He is the most placid beautiful boy.
