About Bronte
Hi, my name is Bronte.
I’m a mature age little 13yo chihuahua. I enjoy the company of the guys but I am a real ladies man at heart. I also enjoy hanging out with little people.
I do enjoy short walks but if you take me too far I am going to be looking for a piggyback home ☺️.
I don’t mind hanging out with smaller dogs and I can even tolerate a cat but I’m not a fan of big doggies.. them long legged ones are very intimidating for a smaller statured fella like me.
I am more than happy hanging out in my crate and sleeping the day away but I would enjoy a secure yard to wander about during the day.
My adoption fee includes my transport cost to your door.
Although all enquires will be answered a formal application must be completed via our website www.radarescue.org/adoption
Medical notes
Bronte has a little lump on his front foot. It doesn't seem to bother him but we are keeping an eye on it never the less.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website https://radarescue.org/adoption
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within two weeks of the adoption.
