About Alison (Can transport to Melb if required)
The word SPECIAL sums up Alison in every way.
Alison was part of a small cat colony in regional Vic. When we rescued her we could tell something was wrong with her as her head had a permanent tilt. Often ear infections can cause a cat to have a head tilt so we treated her for many weeks with antibiotic ear drops and ear flushes. Her condition remained the same so we opted for an ear flush under anaesthesia so our vets could find out what was causing her problem. It was found that Alison had a substantially sized polyp growing in her inner ear which required surgery. We have since had the polyp removed successfully and Alison has recovered. She still has the head tilt and this may resolve itself in time or it may stay with her forever.
Alison loves people and is a very touchy, feely cat. She loves touching you but usually has her claws out. She also loves to play. She has not been around dogs and appears to be fine around other cats. We would not recommend her around young children due to her touchy-feely nature with her claws. She doesn't appear to be shy with new people.
Alison requires a home that can give her everything she needs and someone who can tolerate her full-on nature and doesn't mind her 'touching you' with her claws. Alison is very much loved by everyone at Robyn's Nest and we hope to find the perfect home for her where she is spoiled like she deserves.
