Hazel

Hazel is a nearly two year old Kelpie with lots of love for her people.

She loves nothing more than to curl up with her humans. She would sleep on your bed if given the chance but she has been learning to sleep in her crate of a night, which gives her a good routine and structure.

Hazel grew up with very little exposure to the world which makes her anxious and fearful of new situations. She needs an experienced and committed family who will help her to learn about the world, preferably with assistance from a professional dog trainer. She is better suited to older kids/teens and would love a place to run and stretch her legs, preferably in a quiet location.

She is super smart and is learning all new tricks like sit, drop, stay on her bed and wait at the gate. She is pretty good on the lead, but would like more practice at this.

Hazel does not get along with other dogs living in the home so needs to be the only pet in her new family. She has not been tested with cats, chickens, pocket pets or livestock.
