Meet Max! Max is a 5 year old American Staffy with so much love to give. Max is the most affectionate, laid back, and friendly boofhead. Despite his tough guy exterior, he is a total sweetheart and typical staffy who loves everyone he meets. He is the kind of dog that happily sleeps in his bed through the night. He may try to sneak into your bed for an early morning snuggle if you let him.
Nothing is more important to Max than being with his family. He has been living with another dog around the same size and is very friendly towards all dogs he meets.
Max loves playing with children (they have as much energy as him). He would be very happy living with a family that understands the needs of a large dog and is confident in handling him. He needs to be allowed to be inside and part of your family. If you have an abundance of toys..he's the man for you!
He currently lives with his foster family that includes young children and another dog of similar size. Max loves being with another dog if he was at home without his humans. Max does not enjoy the company of cats.
Max is scared of thunderstorms his new home will allow inside so can be comforted and retreat to a small safe spot to wait it out. His perfect home would have access to the
yard so he can come and go as he pleases, always allowed inside at night and would welcome him inside whenever people are home. He requires a house with a medium to
large sized yard with secure fencing 5-6ft fencing.
For more information or to meet Max, please contact his foster carer on their email lwoodman_237@outlook.com, Max is currently in care in Belmont, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. To apply to adopt Max please click the link https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt and complete an adoption form.
