If you like to spend time at home and are looking for 2 companions to share your couch and your heart, we are perfect for you. Like to binge Netflix? ... so do we!

We are Poppy, a 6 yo golden female chihuahua-cross and Bluey, a 4 yo chocolate male chihuahua. We adore each other and are inseparable, we even sit and sleep on each other.

We are very timid and shy, but if you are patient, gentle and happy to ask consent before approaching us, you will see in time that we are sweet and snuggly dogs who love lots of pats and curling up next to you.

Being so tiny we find the world very big and sudden movements scary but if you are a calm adult, we will feel safe. Busy households with kids would be far too scary for us.

We like to be dogs, so we are happiest on our feet and prefer not being carried in your arms. But once you sit down, your lap will be one of our favourite places. We are happy to share your lap with each other as we do absolutely everything together!

We are lots of fun and our personalities will keep you happy and laughing. We will wiggle our entire bodies every time you tell us we are good. Lucky for you we are always good, so you get to tell us this often. Sure, we might bark at noises in the yard at times, but if you call us back inside, we come straight away - and you can tell us how good we are!

We will enjoy going for short walks on a lead to grab your morning coffee, but if you are unable to walk us, we will be happy getting our exercise running around your backyard. We are also happy car passengers in our carrier.

We want to be someone's companion, to keep you company and make you smile. If you like the quiet life like us, we would love to be your new best friends!

Poppy and Blue's adoption fee covers a half an hour training session with our behaviour team.
