About Poppy
Meet Poppy our 12 week old Tibetan Spaniel cross Kelpie puppy. Poppy is a happy and self assured little love with a sweet and affectionate nature.
Although she may present as a “lap dog” Poppy is anything but. Poppy has strong Kelpie genes which are very apparent even at her young age. True to her Kelpie lineage she has energy to burn. She needs an active home where she will be socialised and simulated both physically and mentally. Poppy is sure to excel at obedience training and is looking for a family who will provide ongoing socialisation and training.
Poppy has been tested with both cats and dogs and is not suited to a home with cats. If you have a cat/kitten or there is any chance you may want one in the next 20 years, Poppy is not the right match for your home. However, Poppy will thrive in a family with a well-adjusted and puppy friendly doggo to both play with and learn from.
Poppy and her sister Pippa are part of our last litter program. This means after they arrived at Ollie’s Legacy HQ, we speyed their Mum, making this her last litter. We are very proud of this program as it breaks the cycle of unwanted pets within the community and rehomes the puppies responsibly.
Poppy is located in Bendigo and has been: Vet Checked, Desexed, Vaccinated, Microchipped (956000014418125) and Flea & Wormed treated. Source Number: RE161465

Adoption details
Many of our animals are extremely popular and we receive a high volume of applications. We review each submission carefully and will only consider those who have followed the link to complete the application form.
As we are run by a very small team of volunteers, it is impossible to contact everyone via phone call. As such the majority of correspondence will be conducted via email. Please keep an eye on your “junk’ folder so you don’t miss any notifications.
If your application is successful you will be asked to attend a Meet and Greet.
