Missy 🥰

Introducing Missy…..A gorgeous gentle natured 9 year old lady who has recently been left behind after her hooman mum passed away 3 years ago and now her hooman dad, her companion, recently joined her mum. She came to live with her hooman family when she was just over a year old and has only ever lived in the one house. She has always been an indoor/outdoor cat, although nowadays spends probably 90%+ of her time indoors, sleeping for long periods of time. She does also spend time outdoors in a cat enclosure which she enjoys…..

Missy likes to keep to herself but can be quite smoochy on her own terms. She will let you know when she is hungry, meowing at your feet, rubbing herself around your ankles and giving you the cat equivalent of puppy dog eyes. She will often sit close to you, right next to you, but not necessarily on your lap. She can be a little weary of strangers but certainly approachable and will accept pats. She will eventually come to you when she feels comfortable. Her beautiful soft purr just melts your heart and her meow is a little scratchy sounding…..we call it her Jodie Foster meow. She loves a back of the ear, neck and chin rub and good long patting strokes down her back.

When she wakes in the morning from sleeping at the end of your bed she will burn off some energy racing around the house at top speed as if she is playing chasings with herself.

Missy was very aware of her human’s illnesses before they even were, trying to tell the rest of the family in her own way. She reacted to their illnesses with over grooming of her lower back and back legs. She has beautiful grey and white fur that is gradually returning to its full shine.

Currently, Missy is staying with a family member and been introduced to 2 other cats in her foster home. She is extremely tolerant around them and unless they hiss at her, she goes about her day and keeps to herself.

She is learning to enjoy dry food as she was very spoilt from her hooman dad, feeding her wet for more then needed. At the moment she enjoys cooked chicken, raw pet food for cats and also Dine wet beef/liver food.

Missy has recently had a Dental scale and polish as well as a few teeth removed, blood work to rule out any underlying conditions and been given a clean bill of health.

We would love to find another amazing home for this sweet girl, where she once again, would be doted on by her humans and live out her senior years being loved like she always has 🥰
