About Ivy (Located in Prahran)
Meet Ivy.
When Ivy first came into foster care she was extremely scared and shy but you also could see straight away her sweet and loving side that she was so ready to show us.
After some settling in time Ivy started to opened up and became alot more comfortable around us. Now she loves to explore the house, run around chasing lasers, she lives being petted, is very very smoochy and will even sleep on the end of the bed each night.
Ivy is a very sweet and affectionate cat that never bites or scratches and absolutely loves being groomed with brushes. When she is happy and enjoying all the affection we give her she’s alternatively clenches her front paws and does a happy feet dance as if to say ‘omg this feels so goood’
As Ivy is deaf, she still still gets frightful of people even if she has spent a lot of time with them, especially when you just pop out of no where. Ivy has shown though, that once she feeling at home with someone who will has given her all the love she deserves and support to show her that you are there for her, her more confident playful side emerges.
Ivy is also a very vocal cat at times as she cannot hear how loud she actually is being. She will let out one big meeeow every time you pet her head in excitement, and it’s it’s extremely funny to watch.
It must be very lonely living in a silent world so Ivys ideal new home could have another feline companion or even just someone that is home majority of the time. She needs time to come out of her shell/safe space so her new adopters will need to be calm and have patience in building that trust with her.
I'd love to find a forever home with my foster friend Lulu
