About Zoe
Introducing Melbourne’s biggest cuddle monster!
Gorgeous Zoe loves everyone! She has a very kind and gentle soul that will stick with you for a lifetime. She will steal your heart with her gazing eyes and unwavering loyalty (helped along by treats).
Due to her outgoing nature, Zoe will be well suited to a home where she will have a doggy pal. She is looking for a home with an active desexed MALE dog of similar age, size and breed to ensure this is a good match.
Zoe LOVES her walks. She will walk forever if you need her to and will always do it with a cheeky smile. This little shadow will always politely ask for back scratches and will happily roll over on the couch for some belly rubs, but will also happily curl up on the couch after her walks and snooze the day away with her friends.
Zoe loves to lay in the sun so somewhere with a nice backyard would be needed for her to play through the day and snooze in the afternoon.
We are not sure of what training Zoe has had in the past but she has been taught manners and basic commands while she has been in her foster home. Old habits can be hard to break and occasionally she can be a little mischievous so be careful with your snacks.
Zoe is very well trained but could do with extra formal training to help with walking loosely on a lead. She knows sit, shake, down, “on your bed”, waits for her dinner, will sit at the crossroads, has excellent recall and has never once had an accident inside.
She is a very well behaved young lady!
While she has been with us Zoe has only met a few children and although she has been very respectful towards them, her puppy brain can sometimes take over and she may get too excited and bump into a young child. This is why we thing she will be best in a home with older children 10+.
Zoe has not met any cats while she has been with us but if she sees one on a walk, her instincts tell her they will be great fun to chase so she will be better in a home with no cats.
If you think your home will be a good match for Zoe, please send us an enquiry and tell us about the type of home you have to offer.
Zoe is currently in care in Preston, Victoria
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
