About Enzo - 4 Year old (on trial 24/2/22)
This sweet 4 year old boy is Enzo!
Poor Enzo has had a bit of a rough trot lately. He was living on a property with some other cats, but unfortunately was not being looked after like he deserved. He had also never been desexed so was making a bit of a contribution to the local kitten population! He somehow found himself shipped off to the local pound, and very sadly was not able to find a home from there. He was approaching his last days in the pound when we were so luckily able to find a foster carer to take this poor boy in and give him a second chance.
Enzo took a little while to get used to being in care, but now that he has come out of his shell - what an absolute transformation! Enzo has gone from being timid and scared to being a big affectionate boy who adores following his carer around and showing his love with a well-timed head-bop. He loves a good chat and can talk for hours on topics of interest such as the merits of different tuna brands. He is an absolute master of the art of "chilling out" and can often be found lazing about with his little legs stuck up in the air.
It has been such a joy seeing this lovely boy find his confidence and learn to trust humans again. His new family will be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate and chilled out little buddy.
Important Enzo details:
- He would suit a single person or a quiet couple with no other pets
- He’s great with his litter
- Loves his wet food
- He loves a hard pat and a good neck scratch
- He’s a big face smusher, whether its you or the furniture
- He loves a good scratch and will happily use a cat tree and floor mats
- He’s big into twerking, and likes a scratch at the base of his tail
- He rolls around when he’s happy and gets into super funny positions
- He likes a belly rub
- He’ll have meow conversations with you
- Very occasionally he can get a bit sassy and take a swipe or chomp - this has decreased hugely since Enzo has gotten more comfortable in care. Nevertheless, we would recommend someone with cat experience and someone who recognises he has a bit of a troubled past and as such is happy to work with his flaws and claws. He will need time invested in him, but as our carers have seen, it is well worth the effort as he is very affectionate and quite the character when he feels safe and comfortable.
