Aries ~ 2yr Old Mastiff X

Aries is Mastiff x Bull Arab mix and is approximately 2 years of age. She is a very chilled, loyal and happy girl with lots of love to give but is very shy.

Aries loves lazing around on her favourite lounge in the sunroom, and is up for a belly rub or cuddle any time. She is also very smart and is learning basic commands. She knows sit, down, shake, stay and in your bed. She will need ongoing training in her new home with someone who is patient and confident with big breeds.

Once you have the trust of Aries, she will be your best friend forever. She will look to you for
guidance and reassurance, so she needs someone to show her rules, boundaries and structure. Aries is still young and has not had a lot of exposure until now. She loves being out in nature meeting wombats on a wildlife program, and she does like meeting people, it just takes a little while for her to warm up and feel safe.

In the beginning she is quiet and cautious and will require a slow and gentle introduction, but once she feels assured she is affectionate and friendly. Aries has learnt a lot since being in foster care and her confidence is growing each day. Aries is toilet trained and sleeps all night inside. She walks well on a lead and likes walking with other dogs on leads.

Unfortunately Aries did not have much interaction so she does not know how to “dog play”.
She has lived with a cat with no problem. Because of Aries’ size I would recommend a home with children over 12. Aries’ ultimate forever home would be in a quiet location where she can laze around with her humans or go for walks without a lot of traffic. A rural setting where she can explore the gardens with you would be ideal.

Aries would need to be welcomed inside and because she loves company so much, a home where someone is there more often than not. So if you’re looking for a big cuddly friend for life, please give Aries a chance.

Aries is currently living in the Newcastle Region NSW. Her adoption fee is $400, and she is already de-sexed, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and microchipped.
