Elle is the Belle of the Ball – Pretty, Smart and heaps of Fun! She's playful, loving, high-energy, funny, loyal and intelligent! If her shiny, chestnut coat and amber eyes don’t win you over, her happy fun-loving ways will!

Hi, my name is Elle. I am a pretty young lady looking for a loving couple or family to take me into their hearts and home.

I am young, high energy and a bit rough and tumble, but there’s a soft side to me and I need love, cuddles and snuggles with my family, especially in the evenings and at weekends.

I love people, especially kids, although I am best with bigger kids (over 10 years) who can exert a bit of control. When my tail wags a little too much and I jump with excitement I might accidentally knock over a little one; after all I am still a youngster myself.

If properly introduced, I welcome most other dogs. However I would rather be your one-and-only dog. I haven’t met any cats yet.

My manners are a work in progress, and I enjoy my training. I am developing my lead manners and can already sit, stay, wait for my meals, and I am learning to come when called. I am learning my toilet habits and I don’t damage things.

Good news! I am very loyal and although I will let you know when strangers are about or friends arrive, I don’t normally bark.

I am basically a home-body, however, left on my own the danger is boredom. I need a household where someone is around most of the time, and a back yard that is secure. For safety’s sake, I need secure 6 ft fencing.

She loves to do good things and with firm, patient handling and proper training, she will mature into an exceptional dog. While Elle is one clever girl, proper training is a must for her. With active people who are prepared to train, exercise, play with her and involve her in family activities, Elle will be an excellent dog. She would make a great running, hiking, or swimming companion. Once she gets the basic training right, she could even go on to do flyball or agility.”

My ideal home would be with an experienced dog owner, a family with older kids who have no other dogs, secure 6ft fencing, a nice comfortable bed, daily interaction with my forever family, ongoing training, and walks. Did I mention that I love my walks?!
