About Lucy ~ 7mo Kelpie(On trial 11/11/21)
Lucy is an energetic 7 month old Kelpie. She is a typical working breed puppy with plenty of energy to burn, and she loves spending time with people. Lucy's favourite activity is fetch and when she's done for the day she loves to snuggle up to her humans on the couch for a cuddle.
Lucy is high energy. She would thrive with someone with experience with working breed dogs. She is a very smart puppy and she knows her name, sit and wait. Lucy would benefit from going to puppy school and a home committed to ongoing training including helping her work on basic obedience such as not jumping. Lucy is a quick learner and very smart !
Lucy is very friendly with other dogs and loves to wrestle with her foster sisters. In her new home she would love another dog to play with but she would also be happy being an only dog, if she has lots of attention from you. She has previously lived with a cat. Due to Lucy's energy levels we would recommend a family with kids older than 10.
Lucy requires someone who is active with the time to exercise her daily, as well as provide sufficient mental stimulation and involve her in lots of activities. Lucy would love a large backyard, with high 6ft fences.
Lucy loves being inside when people are home, and to sleep inside. She is toilet trained however due to being a puppy needs regular toilet breaks outside when she's awake. She currently sleeps through the night inside without any accidents.
