About Peanut
Peanut is a gentle, affectionate boy who is happy to just relax with the family. An adult family, or one with calm older children, would be best. He can be a little anxious in new environments so would cope best in a calm home with structure and routine and where someone is home more often than not. Peanut would love to be allowed indoors as part of the family. Crate training is recommended to give him a place to retreat when he is feeling overwhelmed. He enjoys going on regular walks which will be a great opportunity for his new owner to continue focusing on Peanut's basic training. He loves food, and feeding him from enrichment such as kongs, wobblers, licky mats, egg cartons, milk bottles etc will be fun for him as well as providing mental stimulation. If he is to live with another dog, a calm social female is best, and they will need a slow and thorough meet at time of adoption. Peanut can be quite pushy and intrusive when first meeting new dogs but can also be worried by some dogs. He would like to meet the whole family at time of adoption.
