About Pepe
Are you looking for a best friend – someone that is happy to be in your personal space at all times? If the answer is yes – then look no further – Meet Pepe!
Pepe is a 7 year and 4 month old Tibetan Spaniel x
Pepe came into care with his daughter Stella, and they have since gone to separate homes very happily.
My foster mum says I am one of the happiest dogs we have ever seen come into care, and I have to admit I just love life, I love people, l love other dogs, I love everyone.
I live with a few other foster dogs – some young, some old, some smaller then me (not just in size), and some bigger than me and they all don’t really bother me – they do their thing and I do mine. They love to play and wrestle – I am not really into that however I do like to jump into the middle of it simply as I like to be the center of attention.
I am much happier playing on my own with a plush squeaky toy or a mini tennis ball – my foster mum says it can keep me busy for ages.
I came into care with a really big issue about being away from my humans for even a few minutes – I’m now doing well and can happily go outside for a few hours and play or sunbake or just snooze without needing to have my humans right next to me. But please note that if I go to a new home I might have a few days of being clingy just while I get used to my new home – I will need someone who will have patience with me and give me that time.
In saying that ideally I would love a home where someone is either not working, retired or working from home and I can chill with them thru the day.
I am toilet trained.
My foster mum has said that I am NOT okay with cats, chooks or any pocket pets – my curiosity is just that bit too far over the hmmmm line.
I haven't been around children much but I’m thinking I will get cuddles and attention so there is a huge chance I am going to be a big fan! Especially if one is happy for me to sleep with them at night.
I love going for a walk especially with my fur siblings (my excitement does mean that sometimes I zig and zag when walking). I love doing park days, and outside time while my humans are with me – basically doing things and me being the center of attention just puts me in such a happy place.
I love when company comes to visit because it means more attention for me – did I say that I was just a happy go lucky boy who just loved life yet??
I have a coat that does require grooming – I came into care in desperate need of a groom and the groomer was happy to report that I was no problem at all to groom. I mean come on I got a bowtie and all the attention on me – perfect day!!
If you think you could make me part of your family & are interested in applying to adopt me, please send thru an adoption application.
** Please note applications will close Tuesday 2nd November 2021 at 5.30pm

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
