About Bindi
Bindi is a sweet, good natured, affectionate girl who enjoys being groomed. Although she has a short lower jaw it doesn’t prevent her from eating though it does look a bit strange 🙃 Bindi is not a lap dog but she loves pats and belly rubs and likes to play. She is quite inquisitive and knows quite a few commands. If you like to take long walks over an hour she can keep you company and she also travels well in the car.
Your home would be a suitable home if you are active, have no kids, have no other pets in the home and are home most of the day, as she likes company – if she twigs that you’re leaving her she will bark a couple of times to show her displeasure but settles down after that. Bindi prefers adults to small children . She broke her leg as a small puppy & wasn’t socialised to other dogs when young which has resulted in her being reactive to other dogs. However her foster carer has been working very hard on this and she has made great progress which could be continued in her new home.
Bindi’s foster carer has been working on her dog reactivity and nervousness around large bodies of water and she has made great progress. She can now walk along the side of the river as long as she doesn’t get too close.
If you are willing to offer your heart and home to Bindi and continue to help her face her fears you will be well rewarded.
