Hiya! My name is Luna and I’m a 13-month-old kelpie x border collie girl. I am a sweet natured girl who is charms everyone with puppy dog eyes 😍 Don’t let that fool you though – I have loads of energy and need an active home!

I am a busy girl who gets on well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes! I love running around, playing and exploring but most of all I love rumbling and tumbling with my dog friends. I LOOOOOVE a smooch and cuddle from my humans and although I can be a little boisterous, I am a gentle, sweet natured girl.

My dad is a working kelpie so it is in my genes to be super vigilant and react to movement - my new family need to understand this working breed trait and help me to 'switch off'. I have been doing lots of calmness work with my foster mum and I am learning that taking a nap is fun too!

I know how to sit, drop, shake and wait for my food; I am learning to focus, disengage and mind my own business. I am working hard on my lead manners as I can become over-excited when I see other dogs on lead walks - I need a confident handler who is committed to helping me conquer this struggle. I am crate trained and sleep happily in my crate all night. I am also house trained and know to go outside to do my business. I need a home who is dedicated to my ongoing training who will continue training so I can grow up into the best girl I can be!

I am excited to find my forever home. A home with lots of space away from the hustle and bustle of city life, an older well-balanced doggy pal who can teach me the ropes and since I love water, a home near water would be amazing! Most of all I’d like a family who will love me and include me in their daily lives.
