About Heidi
If you are interested in Heidi, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/nm8JCDhs5RrnrSMJ6
Meet Heidi, she is in search of a new couch for snoozes.
*Likes* snoozin, treats, squeaky toys (RIP Mr. Squeak), nose/ear scritches, and walks! *Dislikes* being left alone, Heidi has big FOMO and likes to be part of everything… even if she is “resting her eyes” the entire time. She is very sweet and is starting to learn some tricks if the treats are tasty enough!
As long as you are home most of the time and are willing to continue her separation training, Heidi will be a great fit for an apartment or house.
She’s also met some well behaved kids on our walks and seems to do ok. She can get scared of some boisterous temperament and loud noises, so we think older kids will be ok.
When Heidi is out and about, she walks on loose lead about 80% of the time and listens to commands when treats are involved. Pulls if she wants to investigate a dog or person but can easily be redirected.
She hasn’t had an accident (but let's not jinx that!)
So as long as the new humans are willing to continue training alone time, we think she could be a good fit for new dog owners.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
