About Tokyo & Nairobi: Fabulous Tabby Sisters
Tokyo and Nairobi are bonded fluffy sisters they totally live up to their namesakes in the Netflix series Money Heist. They both love a bit of action. Nairobi is totally independent and Tokyo is a bit more of a MUMMA’S girl. Saying that they are both extremely smoochy. Both love snuggles together and individually with their foster mumma or one of their resident foster uncles. Nairobi loves her food and if not watched would sink her teeth into Tokyo’s share. They prefer to eat close to each other but seperate. Tokyo is a real lady she takes her time and savours the moment. Nairobi still doesn’t understand she will get more good in a few hours and just hoover’s it down. They are the best of friends but are also quite competitive. They both love playing with anyone who will spend five minutes with them their favorite toys are balls and feather wands. Tokyo and Nairobi are healthy raw fed kittens who have been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (Tokyo's microchip #956000013356870, Nairobi's microchip 956000013355331, source #RE101165). They are available for adoption right now!

We are run by volunteers. We are online between 10am and 6pm daily and try to respond within 24 hours. If you want us to follow up, you can text the Cat Phone on 0415-241-211.
To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
Adoption details
To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
