About Harissa

Please note: Harissa will be rehomed with another dog for company. For those contemplating adopting Harissa...she will be a biggish girl - about 35kgs we think.
Harissa is a sweet and loyal companion. She is a lovely natured girl who walks great on leash and travels well in the car. She is being fostered in a household with other dogs and is calm and easy going. She loves being around her family and going on little adventures. Harissa loves going for a walk, so if your idea of a lovely day is going for a stroll, stopping off at a café or park and meeting up with friends, then Harissa agrees and will be only too pleased to join you.
Harissa’s temperament is very calm for a puppy. She is eager to please and food and toy oriented, which makes training fun and effective. She is continuing to progress with house training and is learning to sit, drop and stand and no doubt will soon master these on command.
At this stage of puppyhood, she does love to dig, so award winning garden owners may need a sandpit.
Harissa is a timid little girl at heart and vocalises terribly when separated from her person. However, she is only a puppy after all and some separation anxiety is to be expected, but with patience and understanding she should adjust well. She would benefit being with someone who is home a lot as she loves being close to her humans, loves being at home and enjoys the company of other dogs. She does not seem fazed by cats.
She is really a sweet girl who shows signs of having a very good temperament and would make a family very happy as she has a lot of love to give.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
