About Evelyn
If you are interested in Happy or any of our Greyhounds then please fill in our adoption form; https://www.hounds-in-homes.com/adoptionform
Evelyn is a sweet 7-year-old female Greyhound.
What can we tell you about Evelyn? One thing for certain is she really suits her name. Elegant, sweet and so pretty.
Evelyn is sweet-natured, loves her walks and loves hanging out with her foster family, she lives with two smaller dogs, with whom she gets on well.
Evelyn loves to receive attention from her humans, she loves the sofa and she enjoys snoozing after her big walk.
Evelyn is toilet trained and will let you know when she needs to go.
Evelyn is great to walk, with no pulling or excitement.
She doesn't like being approached by over-exuberant dogs (while on a leash) and will give a little growl if she is uncomfortable but never shows aggression.
Evelyn is great with her carers older Kids who are 10 and 13 years old. She doesn't guard her food or her toys/bed. She has no issues at all.
Evelyn is good with stairs.
Evelyn's favourite thing to do is to have a run! Her carer takes her for loose-leash training and her recall is amazing! She will try to chase though if she sees a dog chasing a ball.
She goes off-leash with her muzzle when the park is near empty and she loves it!
Her foster carer is continuing with the loose-leash training and recall and they have some videos to share with her potential owners, so they can see how well she is doing.
Evelyn does well when her carers pop out for a few hours. She settles pretty well but is super happy when her carers return. She wouldn't do well being left for hours on end though, she loves to be included in weekend activities.
Evelyn loves her Likimat and her snuffle matt.
Evelyn is going to make somebody very happy, whoever adopts Evelyne is going to be very lucky indeed.
