Fergus is a special senior man waiting to find the perfect home that will bring out the best in him. He is quite an anxious boy and becomes stressed quite easily. He needs a cat-savvy owner who will be willing to allow Fergus the time to come out of his shell and settle in at his own pace. Fergus needs a quiet, adult-only home, and would appreciate from a outdoor catio- but this would have to be shaded due to his white ears and nose. Fergus is a sweet, affectionate gentleman on his own terms, He likes to be brushed when he’s settled and he will provide such great companionship to his special someone. When Fergus was brought to us he had some blood done as screening. This has detected early kidney disease. We have started Fergus on a special diet called k/d. He will need to be on this food lifelong to maintain optimal kidney health. Fergus would like to be the only pet of the household, and he will rule it like a king.
