About Misty
A beautiful old soul who is still loving life.
Misty is a super affectionate girl, she loves people, gets along with all dogs big & small….
loving her daily walks, great off lead recalls well, sniffing the big world she has recently discovered.
At 12 yo, Misty was not very well cared for previously and was covered in sores from laying on hard surfaces and lumps on her tummy when she arrived. A poor diet may have contributed to her condition. She improved a great deal since eating well.
We suspect she has been outdoors all her life and wasn't house trained for toileting, but has since picked that up & uses a doggy door. She still loves just being in the yard during the day, but has fallen in love with the couch at night….
She can be left alone at home without barking, travels in the car and loves the window open and the wind on her face…
She has had some surgery to remove a lump or two however, it has now been found that she has advanced cancer. Her life expectancy is not long, maybe 6 months, maybe a little longer. Her skin lesions have healed and she looks beautiful.
We are seeking a home that will lavish love and affection on this lady for her remaining days. Indoor lifestyle is a must. Daily walks are a must so she can get the most out of her freedom that has only recently entered her life.
