About Nix
Nix is a 3-year-old kelpie mix girl with a sweet and affectionate personality, who lets you know she’s happy to see you with the tiniest, most adorable howls you’ve ever heard.
This gorgeous girl is a total snuggle bug whose favourite things include belly rubs, cuddles, belly rubs, ear scratches, and also belly rubs.
Nix loves her walks and spends almost the entire time with her nose close to the ground sniffing all the amazing sniffs. But she hasn’t been exposed to much during her life, and can get a little worried when out and about. She will need some help to build her trust and confidence.
Nix is crate trained and toilet trained and loves car rides. She’s looking for home with no other animals, as she’s not a sharer. She’s not reactive when seeing dogs while out on walks, but doesn’t want them in her personal space. With very slow introductions and management, she has been able to integrate with the resident dogs in foster care, but it’s just not her preference.
Nix is looking for a family who will allow her inside as part of the family, include her in their adventures, continue her training and confidence building, and give her all the belly rubs and cuddles she has missed out on.
If this sounds like you, send us an application.
*Nix is lcoated in ACT
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
