Hamish

Hamish is a big fluffy 8 month old boy who loves to play and explore. He is very talkative, but has more of a chirp than a meow, he will have complete conversations with you, it's completely adorable! Sadly he had a bit of a rough start to life and can still be very nervous because of this, especially around new people or noises, so it will take him a little time to trust you and your home. Hamish loves a lower back scratch or head massage is getting better at being picked up, but he is sensitive about his tummy and will give you a little bite (nothing hard, just a warning) if you insist on rubbing it, so please respect his boundaries. Because of this, he is more suited to a home with older children or no children. His fur is luscious and he loves being brushed, but also he looks after it very well himself. Hamish is very social with other cats, and would be happiest in a home with a furry friend, though he hasn't been tested with a dog yet. Hamish loves to chase ribbons or play fetch with ping pong balls and mice toys, and he responds very well to food reward training. Come and meet him at our Longford Centre.
