Joanie is such a sweet and relaxed girl, who is equally happy to run around and play or sit by your side and chill. She is so good on walks, doesn’t pull and takes everything in her stride. She can sit, stay and comes back when called off-lead.

Joanie is great around children, loves to play on the trampoline, enjoys a cuddle or tummy scratch and has learnt to give a ‘high-5’ before waiting patiently for her meals. We know she can jump quite high but she has never tried to escape, rather she sits patiently at the back door until you return home. She doesn’t dig, chew or pull clothes off the line.

Joanie doesn’t chase birds and is untested around cats. She is not aggressive with other dogs but generally prefers to be the only dog in the family. She is making progress and slowly making new friends, mostly of her own size. At night she curls up on her bed and stays there until the morning.

Joanie would be well suited to either a family or an individual wanting a companion. She is happy to sit by your feet during the day or supervise any activity you do. When the kids return home she will greet them with her extra-waggily tail and those gorgeous round puppy dog eyes. To sum Joanie up in a few words would be loyal, companion, best friend.
