About George Sweetboy
George Sweetboy and his brother Simba came into care with Cat People of Melbourne after their family had to move in with other people, due to losing their jobs in the pandemic. George has adjusted to foster care very well, he was making himself at home in his carers house.
George is a handsome white and tabby boy, with tiger stripes in his tabby patches. He has a pupil that doesn't contract in his right eye, which doesn't seem to bother him. In fact, it makes him a David Bowie cat!
George is strong and confident as well as very sweet and playful. He is quite independent and happy to spend time on his own but loves attention and can become jealous if he does not have all the attention.
George is very affectionate and sociable with people, he loves to cuddle and receive head scratches, and won’t pass an opportunity to play with you or his toys. He spends his time indoors but enjoys being outside on the cat-proofed balcony to watch the birds and people pass by.
George's current diet is a mix of dry, wet, and raw foods and he isn't a picky eater - bring on the food and don't say when! But George is extremely fussy when it comes to his litter box, he will only use a litter box with clumping litter and does not like wood-pellet litter. Do not even try it, he won't use it. Trust us, we've tried.
George Sweetboy can live alongside another cat but really would prefer to be the only cat in the house, because that way he gets all the love, attention, food and litter... territorial little man that he is, this would make him very happy. Are you ready to be George Sweetboy's one and only love? Submit an enquiry now and find out!
Whilst George is a shorthaired cat, he is still very soft and fluffy, but sheds heavily and requires consistent brushing.
George Sweetboy is a healthy cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010001297815, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!
