About Simba Sweetboy
Simba Sweetboy and his brother George came into care with Cat People of Melbourne after their family had to move in with other people, due to losing their jobs in the pandemic. George has adjusted to foster care very well, he was making himself at home in his carers house.
Simba is an indoor cat who is very timid and nervous around strangers but is the most loving and affectionate cat once he gets to know you. He loves to snuggle and receive scratches. He has a diet that is a mix of dry, wet, and raw foods. While he is not a picky eater he prefers dry snacks to paté treat tubes. Simba is happy and independent on his own but is a social kitty who enjoys spending time with the humans of the house.
Simba is a very soft and fluffy boy, he does not shed heavily but requires consistent brushing. Simba loves to scratch, and takes advantage of his scratching post! Multiple scratching posts are highly recommended if you want to save your furniture! He is also a fan of feathered mice toys but does not seem interested in dangly toys.
Simba is timid but does do well with other cats. His ideal companion would be in a home with a gentle or shy cat that needs a friend. Simba would be a great support cat, he is extremely affectionate, caring, and attentive, enjoying sharing his space with his human companion. He would be okay alone with somebody who works from home who is around constantly, otherwise, a shared home with another gentle animal would be ideal.
