ā¢ A household who can provide a walk twice a day
Kozzy is a mastiff mix who is trained in basic house rules, toilet trained who sleeps inside all night and enjoys an active life. She will need to live in a assertive and calm household who will show her some boundaries. Initially you will need patience while she settles.
She is currently in foster care solo but has had a number of interactions with pets of another household (with 1 small dog and 1 large dog) she is friendly and interested in the other dogs and can pick up on the social cues when distance is required. We think she would better be suited in an only dog home but shouldnāt have too many issues with another dog. If she is to be introduced to any other dogs she will need slow & careful introductions.
Kozzy can be anxious in meeting new people so any new introductions would need to be on lead. She wants to play with all the new people she meets but can struggle to get over her initial shyness and timidness. In fact if you do come for a meet and greet, Kozzy will likely bounce around trying to play with you once she feels comfortable. This girl is going to be one of the loyalist dogs once she makes that strong connection with her new owners and you will have her trust and devotion.
She loves a daily walk but can be pull on the lead initially. She enjoys being playful and can stubbornly ignore your commands in hopes of having you play with her. Inside she can be calm when lying in her bed but will playful and stubborn when trying to put her out. When people come over she can be very jumpy and probably isnāt best for little kids.
NO tested with cats
