About Loki Sweetness
Loki Sweetness and his mummy were adopted by a loving family in country NSW in 2015. A few years later the moved to the western suburbs of Melbourne and everything in their loving family started to go awry. First mummy cat didn't cope, then Loki the son. What was the issue? Neighbourhood cats would come onto the owners property and spray and attack the family cats through the windows. The family tried everything recommended by vets and the internet, to no avail. First they rehomed mummy cat to a new loving family, then in desperation they contact CPoM about Loki - normally a chilled out loving everything friendly family cat. The dad showed the foster carer the scratches on his leg... the situation was serious. Loki could be the nicest cat in the world but the stress levels were such that he wasn't coping.
His family waited a couple of weeks to make the final decision (and were told that loki was calm in care) but decided the best thing for Loki is that he find a new home as they could not afford to move at this time (bless them they did try this option!).
So this means Loki Sweetness is looking for a new furrever family. He's very shy for the first week or two, in foster care he hid in his dad's hoodie (which is a thing, get him a hoodie, he loves it). After a week and a half, Loki has gotten confident enough to start exploring out of his crate, has touched noses with his roommate the tough street cat (no hissing, no issues) and he's flung a few mousies around the room. He's not explored the greater house yet, as we're very aware of his stress levels but he knows he's in a house with multiple cats and he's gotten ok with it over the last couple of weeks (was terrifying at first).
So let's talk about Loki Sweetness. He's black and white and gorgeous all over. He has a black nose thats boopable and cute. He hides in his favourite humans hoodie to sleep, and he vibrates his tail when he says hello to people he likes. We know Loki Sweetness is social cat friendly and respectful child friendly (no screaming, he won't cope).
The foster carer gets the sense he's ready and willing to connect with a human who needs emotional support and unconditional love, because he needs in return. If you or your child are looking for an emotional support animal, Loki Sweetness could be the boy for you. Submit an enquiry now and find out!
Loki Sweetness is a healthy tinned/partial raw cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #900012001113694, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!
